GSA Assist

GSA Assist

PROBLEM: The General Services Administration (GSA) is the world’s largest landlord. They lease Federally owned properties to other US government agencies. The GSA had difficulty in helping their clients visualize how the properties could be custom fitted to suit the client’s needs.

SOLUTION: Michael designed a tool that contains an accurate, photo-realistic 3D model of the property. This tool allows GSA designers to populate the property with furniture and fixtures in any configuration they wish. They can then take the client on a walk-through tour to see how their configurations will look in real time.

VALUE: This new capability reduces the time and labor of GSA designers, turning a weeks-to-months long design process of creating new layouts, drawing mockups, submitting and revising, into an hours-to-days process of building out the space in real time with the client observing remotely, and giving instant feedback.
